Week 2 Art Session
This week in the Seniors, we did an art piece that has a picture of an oil lamp.
Oil lamps were used in the 1860s and were made by using whale oil and burning fluid (a volatile and dangerous mix of turpentine and alcohol) were the primary sources of lighting.
Materials to make a beautiful art piece of an oil lamp:Chalk:Yellow, orange, red for the flame and light, Blue, Red, orange, yellow for the flame, white or silver oil pastel for the outing of the oil lamp, A4 black paper and a pencil.
It was very fun to make it and I think everyone did a good job!
